Evening Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner Itinerary
1. Afternoon Pickup: 3:00 PM
We will pick you up from your hotel, residence, or an agreed meeting point in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman and drive to the desert. Your exact pickup time will be confirmed at the time of booking. It varies throughout the year as the time of sunset changes. (Up to 6 guests can join in a standard 4×4 safari vehicle.)
2. Dune Bashing
Once we reach the desert, you will drive over the dunes with your safari driver.
The actual dune bashing drive usually lasts about 30 minutes, depending on the specific route and desert conditions. If you would prefer a more leisurely pace, please let us know before the safari. (If you are prone to motion sickness, it is better not to eat a heavy meal immediately before dune bashing.)
3. Sandboarding and Sunset
After the drive through the dunes, there is time to enjoy the landscape, try your hand at sandboarding, and take photos of the sunset. It is also a great moment to simply take a pause for a few minutes. The desert feels completely different once the sun begins to set.
4. Desert Camp
After sunset, we continue to the desert camp.
You can relax, enjoy Arabic coffee and dates, try henna painting, have your photo taken in traditional attire, and soak up the camp’s atmosphere before dinner is served.
5. BBQ Dinner and Live Shows
Dinner is served buffet-style, featuring BBQ dishes and vegetarian options.
The evening program typically includes belly dancing, Tanoura, and a fire show. The entertainment lineup is subject to change on certain dates and during religious holidays.
6. Return to Dubai: 9:00 PM
After the camp program, your driver will take you back to your Dubai pickup location.
Choose Shared seats or a Private 4×4 Vehicle?
The standard evening desert safari is a 4×4 excursion shared with other guests.
If you would prefer to have the vehicle exclusively for your family, partner, or group, you can opt for a private 4×4 tour instead.
A standard 4×4 vehicle accommodates up to six people, with the exact seating arrangement depending on the specific booking.

A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Book
Evening Desert Safari Price
The standard evening desert safari starts from AED 120 per person. Your booking includes the main safari experience, desert camp, BBQ dinner and live entertainment, with optional activities available at an additional cost.
The camel ride is a brief experience
The camel ride included in the standard safari is intended as a short, traditional experience and a photo opportunity. If you specifically wish to go on a longer camel trek, we offer a separate Desert Safari with Camel Ride experience.
Quad biking is not part of the standard price
Quad biking can be added to your safari if you want extra time riding in the desert.
Dune bashing can be skipped if needed
Guests who are pregnant, have certain mobility limitations, or should avoid rough movement should inform us prior to booking. A private vehicle can also make it easier to arrange a gentler desert drive or you can skip dune bashing entirely and head straight to the desert camp instead.
Dubai Hotel Pickup & Drop-Off
Pickup and drop-off are available across Dubai. Your exact pickup time depends on your location and the season, so we’ll confirm it when you book.
